Tom has always been passionate about helping others. In high school his awareness of mental health needs and a system under pressure inspired him to complete a Degree and Honours (first class) in Psychology (A+ grade). While volunteering for community mental health services including Youthline Tom was accepted into the highly competitive and prestigious 3-5 year clinical psychology programme at Otago University. This Grant will support Tom to become a clinical psychologist so he can fulfil his dream to support Cantabrians in need.
