Now 18, Andre Free is a road cyclist selected to represent NZ at the Junior Road World Champs in Canada. In 2026 he won silver at the Junior Oceania Time Trial Champs and silver in both the Junior NZ National Time Trial and Road Race Champs, and in 2025 he placed 9th overall in the General Classification at a UCI Junior Nations Cup event in Canada. This Grant supports his travel and race costs for the Junior Road World Champs. His goal is to race professionally in Europe and represent NZ at the highest level.
