At 18, Luke Jansen is an adventure racer and orienteer selected to represent NZ at the Junior Adventure Racing World Champs in Canada. In 2026 he placed sixth overall in the two-day individual Coast to Coast, winning the school grade, and took third overall as a youth team at The Magnificent expedition race. This Grant supports his travel, gear and entry costs for the World Champs. A team captain and navigator, Luke aims to compete at the elite Adventure Racing World Champs and to study aviation.
