Now 23, Rosie Knight is a soprano who has already performed with professional opera companies including New Zealand Opera and Wellington Opera. She completed a Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance and recently achieved First Class Honours at the University of Waikato Conservatorium of Music. Rosie has taken on solo and operatic roles, including Agathe in Der Freischütz, while continuing to build her technical foundation as a developing voice. This Grant supports her return to postgraduate study, enabling her to undertake a Masters degree and prepare for international auditions and young artist programmes as she works toward a professional operatic career.
