Heading for the Korean Open (Taekwondo), 18 year old Tom is a veteran NZ Rep, having been selected for the NZ team for the Snr World Champs last year while still a junior, and for the Jnr World Champs in 2016 – as the only fighter to win 3 fights. A Gold and Silver medallist in Snr divisions while still a young age shows how much skill and commitment Tom has. Graded black belt since he was ten, Tom’s long list of tournament wins and achievements include coaching at his club. With a goal to attend a Korean university to improve his skill and Korean language skills, Tom ultimately aims to compete at the Olympics.
