Thomas was talked into giving kayaking a go 9 years ago and hasn’t looked back. At 19, he’s a sporting high achiever with club trophies, awards, medals, national titles and Australasian wins in rugby, gymnastics, swimming, surf lifesaving and surf ski as well. His focus on kayaking and surf ski, includes National titles and competing in Australia and Japan. This Grant will enable Thomas to compete in both the U23 World Champs in Hungary and the Asia Pacific Cup in Japan. As well as finishing his Sports Science Degree, Thomas is aiming for more World Champs and the Olympics.
