Dancing since she was 3 in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acting and singing, 17 year old Shelyse has a long history in modern dance excellence. In 2014 she won Junior Dancer of the Year at the largest dance competition in Australasia. Last year, aged just 15 she commenced training in Australia while studying by NZ correspondence. Combined with outstanding competition results in NZ, Australia and USA and distinction in all dance exams, Shelyse has extensive performance experience including Xmas in the Park. This Grant helps Sheylse complete a Performing Arts Diploma in Australia towards her ultimate goal of cabaret on the world stage, along with her own dance school to teach others.
