Since the age of 2 Sarah has danced, performed, trained and competed internationally. By 14 she was training in dance half-time and schooling the other half and by 16 was in full-time dance training supported by correspondence schooling. As one of only 15 dancers accepted into the NZ School of Dance from many international applicants, this Grant supports 18-year-old Sarah’s tuition towards becoming a professional international contemporary dancer. Her ultimate goal is to then return to Canterbury to support and inspire the next generation of dancers.
