Samuel began learning piano aged 5, and the violin aged 6. Now 18, he has wanted to be a world-touring pianist and conductor from an early age. Samuel has been selected for a Specialist Music Programme and won significant music and academic scholarships, along with many successful national performances and competition wins. A top pianist for his age, Samuel combines technical ability with musical sense and a unique way of expressing music. This Grant will help Samuel purchase equipment towards completing his Bachelor of Music Performance with Honours followed by his dream to achieve a music scholarship at a major conservatory in Germany for his Masters and PhD.
