Having played both beach and indoor volleyball for 5 years Rosa recently competed in the NZ team at the U19 World Beach Volleyball Champs in Turkey. Other recent achievements include captaining the NZ U19 Indoor Volleyball squad to a 5-0 test series win against Australia and placing 5th in the U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Champs. At just 17 she’s also in the NZ Snr Women's Volleyball squad and the NZ A Beach Volleyball squad which is a pathway into high performance beach volleyball. A 2-time Secondary School National Beach Volleyball Champ (2020-2021) and a 1-time indoor volleyball champ, Rosa is also passionate about coaching and giving back to the volleyball community. This Grant helped her compete in Turkey as the next step towards a US College volleyball scholarship, and to represent NZ at the Commonwealth Games and Olympics.
