Having played drums for 12 years, Patrick’s extensive musical success includes jazz, big band, rock/pop, theatre and pipe band. He’s played nationally and competed 4 times at the World Pipe Band Champs in Scotland. Now 21, Patrick has spent the last 2 years studying Percussion Performance and Music Business at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. COVID-19 saw Patrick return home where he has determinedly studied remotely for the last 18 months – often ‘in class’ at 4am. This Grant will help Patrick return to Boston to complete his studies towards his goal to play on Broadway and perform internationally.
