Nina Noble, 23, developed her profound musical passion at Cashmere High School, and further honed her skills through performances with both the CSO and the NZSO. Set to graduate from Victoria Uni of Wellington in July 2024 with a BMus(Hons) in Classical Performance, and a conjoint BA in Education & Psychology, Nina has garnered accolades such as the Deane Music Scholarship, and the Māori Education Trust Postgraduate Scholarship. Accepted into the prestigious Royal College of Music in London for a Master of Performance, this grant will support her studies in the UK. Nina aims to absorb knowledge from world-renowned musicians and pedagogues, establish a freelance career, and perform with leading orchestras in London. Her long-term vision includes securing a role in a European orchestra and returning to Christchurch to enhance music accessibility and address gender and equity challenges in orchestral music.
