Passionate about Shakespeare, at 17, Nadia has been part of many productions, earned Best Actress in Shakespeare Festivals, selected as a Court Theatre ambassador in 2021 and 2022, and selected in 2021 to be part of the Young Shakespeare Company. As well as high academic achievements, Nadia is also active in her school’s health and wellbeing initiatives. The Grant will help Nadia as one of only 24 NZ students selected to perform at the Young Shakespeare Competition at the Globe in London. Proud of her Malay and European heritage, Nadia’s goal is to become a drama educator to inspire other young performers from diverse backgrounds.
