Having played hockey since he was 5, Moss played in his first Canterbury team at 9 and has been in NZ age group programmes since he was 16. At CBHS he captained the 1st XI team. Now 20, Moss studies engineering at Canterbury University while part of the Canterbury U21 and Men's Hockey teams, HSOB/Burnside Premier Men's team, and NZ U21s. Keen to give back, Moss is assistant coach for CBHS 1st XI. Highly recognised for his playing and leadership, Moss is focused on making the NZ Men’s team with the ultimate goal to compete at Commonwealth, Olympic and World Cup. This Grant helped Moss compete at the recent Sultan of Johor U21 Hockey Tournament in Malaysia.
