Mia is a remarkable and inspiring 17 year old community leader and campaigner with a passion for environmentalism and combatting climate change. She is well known through her Press and Stuff.co.nz editorials leading local and national climate awareness and global change. A volunteer for many local youth and environmental charity groups, this Grant will help Mia to the UN Youth Pacific Conference in Melbourne and a Project in Vanuatu to build knowledge that will benefit the world.
