Maddie has ranked highly this year on the world stage and in 2017 was the first NZ female in over 20 years to win a medal after achieving a both Bronze and Silver in the World Age Group Champs (17-21). A trampolinist since she was 7, and NZ rep since she was 12, at 19 Maddie has represented NZ in 11 international tournaments to date, winning the Australian National Champs in 2011. This Grant will support Maddie to the World Champs in Russia as a lead up to the 2020 / 2024 Olympics where Maddie is focused on being the first NZ female trampolinist to compete at the Olympic Games.
