Lucy Hutchinson was only 14 when she first made the U18 South Island rowing team. She has won the U18 pair at the Maadi cup, and U22 coxless 4 at the NZ Rowing Nationals. Despite approaches from overseas universities Harvard and Princeton, Lucy is pursuing her studies and rowing in NZ. This Grant will help Lucy compete at the world champs in Rio de Janeiro next month with the NZ Jnr Rowing squad.
