Now 21, Laurel has for many years studied ballet, tap, jazz dance, drama and singing as part of her long held dream to make it to a New York stage. Her studies include a long list of theatre achievements and in 2014 was accepted into a musical theatre summer school in the USA. This led to completing a Musical Theatre Degree at ARA and being cast in the Wicked and Les Miserables productions. While an autoimmune disorder makes life extremely challenging for Laurel, she continues to achieve at the highest level, with this Grant enabling her to accept a place at an upcoming Broadway Dance Centre in New York.
