Lara was first cast in musical theatre at the age of 6. In recent years she has achieved a US performing arts high school scholarship and selection as one of 20 high school students for Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ’s Young Shakespeare Company. Having achieved a place at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow - one of the world’s top 5 performing arts schools – this Grant will help with tuition fees towards a career in global musical theatre career. Just as important to this talented 18 year old is to keep returning home to tutor and support NZ’s next generation of artists.
