Nineteen-year-old Jacob Knoef was selected for the 2025 Junior World Orienteering Champs in Italy, his final year of eligibility. He also represented New Zealand at the 2024 World University Orienteering Champs and earned podium finishes at the Oceania and NZ Championships. Jacob studies Accounting at the University of Canterbury and volunteers with his local club, PAPO. This Grant supports his international competition costs. His long-term goal is to compete at the World Orienteering Champs and represent Aotearoa at the senior elite level.
