While 17 year old Isla only discovered kayaking 3 years ago, she was quick to podium in national competitions, earned selection in a foundation squad and for the Asia Pacific sprint team to compete in Japan. Now training up to 12 times a week, this Grant will enable Isla to compete at the U18 World Champs in Hungary. As she further develops as a highly successful international athlete, Isla also wants to keep giving back to the paddling community through coaching younger athletes and helping to promote the sport.
