Indya started Irish Dancing at 6, and now 22 still loves it. She has placed highly in several major NZ competitions including 2^nd at the 2023 NZ nationals. Indya also shares her passion through teaching/choreography for others. Covid meant she couldn’t attend the 2020 World Irish Dance Champs, so this Grant will help her compete at the World Champs in Glasgow as part of her dream to dance internationally. She ultimately wants to keep dancing, competing and gain teaching qualifications to inspire the next generation of dancers.
