At 22, Hayley is a seasoned top Touch Rugby player with 8 caps to her name and in 2019 heads to the Touch World Cup in Malaysia with the NZ squad. Her rise to the top saw Hayley in 2016 achieve the first test cap for NZ’s Open Women’s Touch team against Australia, and has been MVP in Canterbury. From the age of 4, she played almost every sport imaginable, including many at Canterbury and NZ rep level, most recently balancing that with top academic results with a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management. Keen to be an ambassador and role model for younger female athletes, Hayley also balances coaching in netball and touch with training to ultimately be selected for the newly established NRL Warriors Women’s Touch team for international competition.
