Starting a love of cross-country in primary school, Daniel runs for fun but has always placed or won. From Canterbury to National teams he’s won multiple age group titles and records. Now 18, this Grant helped Daniel compete in the NZ U20 team at the World Athletics Cross Country Champs in Serbia in March. It’s the next step to a US university athletics scholarship and goal to keep representing NZ, break more records, compete at the World Champs and Olympics and become a role model for other up and comers.
