Charly’s always been around dogs and starting showing with her Gran's dogs in 2016. Now NZ’s top Jnr Dog Handler, 18 year old Charly has handled dogs in all 7 dog groups (Toys, Terriers, Gundogs, Hounds, Working Group, Utility Group and Non-Sporting) winning Best in Shows, Best in Groups among others and is sought after by dog owners internationally to show their dogs. Despite having coeliac disease with severe allergic reactions (so she shouldn’t even be around dogs) Charly loves what she does. This Grant will help Charly to the prestigious 2023 Crufts Dog Show in England where she’s been selected to attend as NZ’s Jnr Dog Handler. It’s an important step towards her goals of international wins, becoming an All Breeds Judge, while mentoring future junior dog handlers.
