From a young age Boaz has been hugely passionate about anything on two wheels and competed in his first downhill mountain bike race ten years ago. Since then Boaz has had his eye on an international career in mountain biking and has been hugely dedicated and made so many sacrifices to get there. He has competed in Cycling NZ National Downhill rounds through to World Cups and World Champs, including representing New Zealand. He has consistently achieved excellent results worldwide, often in the top 10, and top 20 in his races. This Grant will enable 20 year old Boaz to achieve at the next level through travelling to 2021 World Cup events, keeping his equipment well maintained and then to quarantine back in New Zealand. His dream is to keep moving up the ranks to land a full time paid contract with a downhill race team.
