At just 15, Abbey has already represented NZ in three sports – figure skating, speed skating, and now ice hockey. Her rise in this sport includes as part of the gold medallist Canterbury ice hockey team. This Grant supported Abbey as part of the NZ Ice Fernz team which has just won Bronze at the World Champs, Iceland. Her goal is to one day make the Winter Olympics.
