Taylah has played many sports, won many awards (MVP), represented NZ when she was 14 and been selected for many teams (including U16 NZ Football). After giving indoor and beach volleyball a go, she loved it and has represented her school, Canterbury and NZ for indoor volleyball. Now 18, Taylah was in the recent NZ Jnr Women’s team test series 5-0 win against Australia, and represented NZ in Beach Volleyball at the U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Champs placing 5th and earning NZ selection to U19 World Champs in Turkey which this Grant supported. Offered many volleyball scholarships to the US, Taylah has accepted Michigan State University (a Division 1 US College) where following graduation she aims to either play professionally in Europe or represent NZ at the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.
