Louis is a long-term talented hockey star who has been well recognised as a representative at U12, U15, U18 and U21 levels. At 19, he was recently a member of the NZ team competing in the Sultan of Johor 6 Nation Hockey Tournament in Malaysia. He was part of the winning Christ College team which won the National Secondary Schools Hockey Tournament in 2017, and then went on to make the NZ U21 Jnr Blacksticks and Canterbury Cavaliers Men’s team – the top team in Canterbury with most players a lot older and more experienced. Louis’s ultimate goal is selection for the NZ men’s team to again represent his country at the highest level.
