A seasoned global competitor since the age of 12, 16-year-old Ethan has multiple competition wins, including U19 Oceania and National Champs. This Grant will support Ethan on a Europe campaign and to represent NZ at the 2020 Mountain Bike XCO World Champs in Germany. This is the next step towards becoming an elite ranked rider, and to continue competing at World Champs in coming years for both himself and to help NZ move up the country rankings for more spots at Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
